Thesis Prize Winners

Last year we've organised another thesis contest, of which the winners were announced during the Decolonising Global Health Symposium in Novembre. The winners of the 2022 Thesis Prize were Linda van der Spek (category Global Child Health) and Julia Addison (category Health Eqity). The category Global Child Health was sponsored by the Global Child Health working group, the category Health Equity was sponsored by us. They both won €1000,- to invest in their career! 

 

The title of Linda's thesis was:

Targeting mass drug administration against schistosomiasis in northern Tanzania: Exploring the use of precision mapping and spatial predictive modeling to inform planning at sub-district level.

 

The title of Julia's thesis was:

Equitable Partnerships for Clinical Internships Between High-Income and Low- and Middle-Income Medical Institutions; a Transdisciplinary Research Project.
