The Knowledge Centre Global Health (KCGH) aims to support knowledge exchange in the field of global health. We achieve this by connecting healthcare and global health professionals, making global health knowledge more accessible, learning from it, and thereby promoting its application in the Dutch healthcare system.

Gaza and Israel

As global health professionals we are deeply concerned about the human suffering in Gaza and Israel. Some members of the NVTG are also directly involved through their professional activities.

We would like to echo WHO's call for "for the immediate active protection of civilians and health care. Evacuation orders must be reversed. International humanitarian law must be abided by, which means health care must be actively protected and never targeted."

New: KCGH has its own online learning platform!

With many thanks to everyone involved, KCGH has been able to launch its fresh, free and accessible online learning platform! This innovative, Moodle-based platform is dedicated to enhancing global health knowledge exchange worldwide. Currently, it features a comprehensive pre-departure course for medical students by UMCG, covering essential global health topics, and an in-depth course on planetary health developed in collaboration with Elevate Health and other prestigious institutions. We invite global health professionals, educators, and students to join our community, share their courses, and collaborate on educational initiatives. Start by creating a free account at www.elearning.kcgh.nl to access all available resources.

Linking Global Health

Linking Global Health is a collaboration between KCGH and TROIE. With this map we offer all players in the field of Global Health - (para)medics, researchers, institutions, and projects - a platform to get in touch with each other. Use the map to let others know where you are currently working, and to connect with experts in other locations.
